ASSE’s Professional Development Conference & Expo meets in Baltimore

In keeping with the needs of an ever-changing industry, the American Society of Safety Engineers’ annual professional development conference and exposition provides a forum for thousands of attendees to learn about the latest issues and trends in the environmental health and safety profession. This year’s meeting will take place in Baltimore, June 13-16.

The range of topics combined with the quality of speakers makes the ASSE conference program among most engaging in the industry. The sessions provide leading edge education tied to the hands-on opportunities that can be seen on the exhibit floor.

ASSE’s conference offers 200 concurrent education sessions including some sessions in Spanish, features 20 subject areas, hosts on average 400 exhibitors, and offers several networking opportunities and events.

Also, this year there is a brand new Executive Track.

The conference provides one of the top comprehensive professional development opportunities for safety, health and environmental professionals. Registration opened on Dec. 16, 2009.

The 7th International Fall Protection Symposium (IFPS) will be held June 16-17, 2010, at the Baltimore Hilton in conjunction with Safety 2010. Attracting safety practitioners and scholars from around the world, the IFPS provides an international, multidisciplinary platform for attendees to discuss and learn about the latest tools and methods for controlling and eliminating falls.
