OSHA will continue to meet with members of its Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH). The full advisory committee meetings began this morning and will proceed through tomorrow in Washington, D.C.

The ACCSH workgroups met this week from May 13 to 14, and held workshops on diversity, trenching, multilingual, rollover protective systems, the focused inspection initiative, residential fall protection, silica and the OSHA Training Institute

The committee advises the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health in the formulation of standards affecting the construction industry and on policy matters arising in the administration of the safety and health provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the OSH Act of 1970.
