In 1999, the Docking Station™ revolutionized the gas detection industry by automating the calibration, instrument diagnostics, record-keeping and recharging of portable gas monitors. As the pioneer of this ground-breaking technology, Industrial Scientific is pleased to take this concept even further by introducing the iNet Instrument Network™ — a total cost of ownership program that eliminates the most cost-intensive and time-consuming tasks involved with managing a gas monitor fleet.

iNet continually monitors for conditions such as low, empty or expired calibration gas, marginal or failed sensors, and days since last calibration. Weekly email reports are sent on the status of the instrument fleet and immediate reports are sent when a problem is detected. A number of options are available to handle any service requirement based on an end-user’s individual needs. Should a malfunction occur, iNet automatically dispatches an on-site service visit, replacement monitor or new part depending on the service program selected.
