The PhoCheck line of PIDs from ION Science Ltd. incorporate proprietary "Fence Electrode" technology, which results in ppb capability with linear range to 10,000 ppm, an extremely stable output, optimal humidity compensation and very fast response.

Units have both a digital display in ppb, ppm or mg/m3 and a graphical display showing concentration versus time with the ability to store that graphical data and replay it right on the unit.

The software has many user-friendly features. There is an on-board library of over 250 chemicals, each with a preprogrammed response factor for each lamp energy; customer settable hi and lo alarms; programmable data logging with storage for up to 20,000 points with date and time stamp; time weighted averaging capability against stored OSHA PEL and STEL standards; and the ability to download data and secure calibration files to a laptop in the field via bidirectional communication utilizing an IR link. This allows access to the menu and to tailor the gas table for a specific application.
