Our mission is to provide additional value to our customers by offering the most comprehensive product lines of hand protection, protective eyewear, and protective garments and provide service levels that exceed our distributors’ expectations.
MCR Safety has made significant investments in technology and logistics to further enhance our service to customers. Interactive on-line training, testing and product knowledge certification provide distributor education as a complimentary service. MCR Safety’s Product Reference Library provides product specification, images, crossover information and sales tips for each item on a 24-hour/7 day per week basis.
MCR Safety is serious about quality and consistency. Vertical integration of various manufacturing processes and stringent quality control standards help assure our customers that MCR Safety products are of the highest quality. Over 50% of our sales are products produced in our manufacturing facilities. Protective footwear and respiratory protection are new progressions in our PPE offerings. Pro Grade is our market identity created to provide consumers with quick reference to our top of the line offerings.
We have maintained our original commitment to sell exclusively at the distributor level and support these efforts with trained field and in-house representatives as well as our Business Development field sales team. On-going product training for Sales and Customer Service facilitate providing one contact for our entire line of PPE offerings. Distributors have opportunities to gain product training through our website interactive online training, on-site Sales meetings, by visiting our Memphis corporate office, and our annual “Distributor Weekend.” Our quarterly newsletter, SafetyLine, provides market updates for all product categories. National advertising provides new product introductions to end users as well as distributors.
MCR Safety distributors are now serviced from our Tennessee, Pennsylvania, or California distribution centers. Tennessee services most of our nine adjoining states with LTL next day service on a regular basis. Likewise, California also services much of the west coast with next day service. Located near Philadelphia, our Camp Hill distribution center provides overnight service to 15 northeastern states.
