Best Manufacturing Company Corporate Overview

Recognized internationally for innovative technology and superior quality. Best Manufacturing is an acknowledged leader in the hand / arm protection industry. The Georgia-based company manages the entire production process, from research and development to manufacturing and marketing of a portfolio that features more than 100 individual glove styles with over 600 separate varieties primarily in the industrial and healthcare industries.

Best’s start-to-finish control over production processes has earned it a reputation for the highest quality products. The company culture fosters internal innovation, leading to the invention of the industry’s first non-latex, non-vinyl, nitrile disposable glove, N-DEX, and the industry’s first accelerator-free, latex-free disposable nitrile glove, N-DEX® Free. N-DEX has been instrumental in helping hospitals and health care providers effectively treat and protect patients and employees who are latex sensitive. It is also the preferred glove for clean room hi-tech assembly and many industrial operations. The N-DEX® Free glove provides laboratory, pharmaceutical and industrial workers an accelerator-free, latex-free option with greater grip, comfort, and dexterity.

Best’s research and published work on hand and arm protection and related issues includes the industry’s most comprehensive chemical resistant guide, Chemrest. This guide covers the chemicals most commonly used in various work applications, giving volatility, break down times and proper glove usage for each. Best offers the guide free via mail or as a download at www.bestglove.com.

In February 2005, Best Manufacturing and SHOWA Company of Japan, one of the world’s largest industrial glove makers, signed an exclusive agreement placing Best as the sole-source provider of SHOWA’s Hi-Tech line of hand protection in North America. Under this agreement, SHOWA’s number one selling line of anti-static and polyurethane-coated hand protection was combined with Best’s all-time best selling N-DEX, CleaN-DEX and cut-resistant specialty gloves creating the most comprehensive line of hand protection available in North America.

The line includes SHOWA’s award-winning, anti-static product lines in both static-dissipative and static-conductive styles. This hi-tech product line agreement also includes clean-processed and sterile versions of Best’s revolutionary line of N-DEX® gloves as well as the world’s only 15-gauge, Level III cut-resistant glove, the T-Flex™. The complete line is ready to ship with a dedicated catalog available through Best Manufacturing.

Best’s founding philosophy of delivering the finest products, customer service and product support remains the driving force behind the company. Headquartered in Menlo, Georgia, Best’s manufacturing and sales operations span the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific Rim. Best products and services are sold exclusively through its network of authorized distributors.

An active member of the National Industrial Glove Distributors Association; Safety Equipment Distributors Association; International Hand Protection Association; American Industrial Hygiene Association; American Society for Testing and Materials; European Standardization Committee (CEN); National Fire Protection Association and the Industrial Safety Equipment Association, Best is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tillotson Company.
