| Haws’ Reverse Tempering... Cooling Emergency Shower Water Certain localized conditions can produce water that is too hot for safety shower/eyewash purposes. Whether the excessive input water temperature in the safety shower line is produced by high ambient temperatures, a hot potable water supply, exposure to a hot process environment or some combination of these factors, excessively hot water will need to be cooled before it is usable as safety equipment flushing fluid. Haws’ exclusive availability of reverse tempered water systems provides a substantial added safety benefit in these environments. Integrated into an overall system, the reverse tempering capability adds a chiller to shower or shower/eyewash systems. It can usually be retro-fit into existing installations or designed as a custom Engineered Solution™, including the appropriate showers/eyewashes, in new construction or renovations.
