The 2017 National Safety Council Congress & Expo in will provide ample opportunities for attendees to meet with others in their field, whether they’re interested in starting their careers, changing jobs, getting certification advice and career counseling or merely discussing their experiences with others.
The NSC Career Center will be open on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 25 and 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There you’ll find:
- Workstations with computers
- Executive search firm for career counseling
- Professional Resume Service
- EHS Careers to advise on how to use EHS site and access to Job Board
The NSC Networking Lounge offers a relaxing environment in which you can check your email, spend time with peers and even conduct business.
A special event for women, “Celebrating Women in Safety,” will be held on Tuesday, September 26 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This continental breakfast in the Serpentine Lobby at the Indianapolis Convention Center will be hosted by the Women's Caucus. Registration is required to attend this event.
There’ll be cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and lots of networking at the National Awards Celebration on Tuesday, September 26. The reception will be from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. and the Award Ceremony from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Safety leaders will be recognized for their outstanding achievements.
