Can standards-setting be fixed?

After two years of testimony and brainstorming by labor, industry, professional association, trade organization, and regulatory agency experts, an OSHA advisory group will meet in April to review draft recommendations for improving OSHA's method of setting standards.

The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health's recommendations should be finalized in time to present to the incoming Bush or Gore administrations.
