Scott Health & Safety donates to American Society of Safety Engineers' Foundation

Scott Health & Safety, a manufacturer of innovative respiratory protection equipment for first responders, industrial workers, law enforcement, military and homeland security forces around the world, recently donated $5,000 to the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Foundation. Last year they donated $5,000. The grant will help support the Foundation’s research and education programs in the occupational safety, health and environmental (SH&E) field.

"Scott Health & Safety plays a very important role in the safety of those that protect us every day," ASSE Foundation Chair Cynthia L. Roth said. "Their support through this generous donation shows they are a company that goes above and beyond in their commitment to protecting people, property and the environment especially in supporting safety and health research and students studying in this field. We are very thankful."

Scott Health & Safety is a unit of Tyco International which designs, manufactures, installs and services electronic security systems, fire protection, detection and suppression systems, sprinklers and fire extinguishes and includes more than 60 brands.
