Some Oregon forklift drivers negotiated an obstacle course, performed slalom runs and did precision pallet loading Tuesday to help kick off the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health (GOSH) Conference in Portland.

Drivers climbed into propane-powered Hyster H50FT lift trucks and competed for cash prizes in the first-ever Colubia Forklift Challenge.

The GOSH Conference features 140 workshops and training sessions designed to educate managers and workers about safety and health issues.
