 In April of 2011, Safety Storage^TMfeatured the first Sustainability Control System, which utilized a programmable logic controller to operate redundant refrigeration units.  This control system cycles the units every 7 days to ensure the interior climate does not exceed the pre-determined maximum temperature.  A remote annunciation relay is also included to allow connection to the end users facility monitoring system.
