Sierra Monitor expands global presence for gas detection products

Opens sales office in Singapore; names Adrian Low Regional Sales Director

Sierra Monitor Corporation (OTC: SRMC.OB), a company that designs, manufactures and sells electronic safety and environmental instrumentation, announced that it has opened its third international sales office for gas detection products in Singapore and named Adrian Low as its director of regional sales for Asia.

“We are seeing significant gas detection product sales growth in our international markets and now have offices in Dubai for Middle East and India; Dallas, Texas for Latin America; and Singapore for the Asia region,” said Gordon R. Arnold, president and chief executive officer.  The Asia region includes Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the countries in South East Asia and Australia.

In joining Sierra Monitor, Adrian Low brings 31 years of sales and management experience and a strong knowledge of the Asia region.  Over the past 18 years, his activities were directly related to gas detection product sales.  Mr. Low holds diplomas and certificates in marketing, electrical engineering and instrumentation and control.

Sierra Monitor’s gas detection devices and systems are designed to detect hazardous gases such as combustible gas, oxygen deficiencies and toxic gases before they reach dangerous levels. The Company’s detection systems have advanced data communication capabilities that enable them to interface to centrally located control systems.
