Get ready to run...for a cause

AIHceThe American Industrial Hygiene Foundation will once again hold a run/walk fundraising event during its annual gathering of industrial hygenists.

The 26th annual "Fun Run," held in conjunction with AIHce 2012 in Indianapolis, IN, will take place on Tuesday, June 19th at 6:30 a.m. Those interested in attending should make their way to the NCAA Hall of Champions in White River State Park.

The 5k run or 2k walk is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company. Pre-registration fee is $30 while registering at AIHce 2012 is $40. Students who attend AIHce may register for free. All “Fun Run” proceeds benefit the AIHF Scholarship Program. AIHF Scholarships are awarded based on the availability of funds provided through contributions from AIHA members, individuals, corporations, and local sections.

“The AIHF Fun Run is not only a great way to support our students, but is always a fun way to see the AIHce host city”, noted AIHF President, Carter Ficklen, CIH. “The Fun Run has been an AIHce tradition since 1986 and this year’s event will be sure to please runners and walkers alike. Indianapolis’s White River State Park is a great urban green space and will be a wonderful and scenic setting for this year’s Fun Run. We are especially grateful to Eli Lilly and Company for making this year’s Fun Run possible.”
