Turkey will be the partner country at A+A 2013, International Trade Fair with Congress for Safety, Security and Health at Work, to be held from November 5 - 8, 2013 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. After the opening of the online exhibitor registration, preparations for the event are in full swing. In December 2012, the hall layout planning will begin according to the clearly structured basis of the main exhibit categories: safety at work, security at work, specialized equipment for disaster relief and health at work.

With the strength of the large employed population and above-average economic growth in recent years, Turkey is regarded as one of the most lucrative growth markets when it comes to suppliers of personal protection equipment. “With the participation of the key sector associations and institutions, the German-Turkish safety-at-work dialogue will offer the opportunity for discussion and an exchange of experience, for example on the general socio-political framework and the market situation. We are looking forward to a top-ranking visitor group from the political and business areas and of course also welcome the Turkish exhibitors,” commented Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf. Germany is the most important customer for Turkish products and commodities. In terms of exports to Turkey, Germany is the second most significant trade partner after Russia.

In addition to the exhibits, A+A 2013 will feature the 33rd A+A-Congress. This international congress organized by the German Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health is the leading joint event for industrial safety and corporate health promotion in Germany with content focused on the central topics of “Safety, Health, Ergonomics”. The multi-national appeal of the A+A Congress will be demonstrated by the conference of the International Labour Organization (ILO), offering a dialogue and information platform on worldwide trends for personal protection and accident prevention at work.
