The California Industrial Hygiene Council (CIHC) has assembled an impressive lineup of speakers and a wide-ranging slate of topics for its annual conference this year, which will be held Dec. 3-5 at the Westgate Hotel in San Diego’s Gaslight District.
The forward-looking theme of “Exploring New Horizons” will cover topics like Government and Regulatory Challenges; Emerging Issues; Environmental Assessments: Preparing the Industrial Hygienist for an Increasing Role; Crossover EHS Topics; What Was Old is New Again; and Case Studies—Learning From Experience.
Speakers and presenters include NIOSH Director Dr. John Howard, AIHA Government Affairs Director Aaron Trippler, AIHA President Alan Fleeger, Cal-OSHA Chief Ellen Widess, and Dr. Barbara Materna, Chief, Occupational Health Branch, CA Department of Public Health.
