Larson Electronics' LLC Magnalight announces the release of the following new products:

High Durability Intrinsically Safe LED Flashlight

The EXP-LED-FX4 Intrinsically Safe LED Flashlight from LXflashlights.com is designed to provide an extremely durable and powerful light source for operators who require intrinsically safe approval as well as highly reliable operation. Producing 90 lumens and able to run for up to 80 hours on a set of batteries, this LED flashlight carries intrinsically safe approval and can withstand extremes of weather and rough handling, making it ideal for use in hazardous locations as well as tactical and industrial applications.

LXFlashlights.com has released the EXP-LED-FX2 explosion proof LED flashlight as part of its growing line of portable hazardous location lighting solutions. This explosion proof LED flashlight produces impressive output and the versatility of multiple operating modes and is compliant with U.L. and ATEX standards for hazardous locations. The EXP-LED-FX2 is Class 1 Division 1 certified intrinsically safe and well suited for use as an inspection or work light in locations where flammable gases, vapors and chemicals present an explosion or fire hazard.

Explosion Proof Ultraviolet HID Flashlight

The Ultraviolet HID Flashlight is an explosion proof approved ultraviolet flashlight with high output ultraviolet HID bulb for use in hazardous locations requiring protection against fire and explosion. The rechargeable EPL-UV-20W-G2 is fitted with a high intensity discharge bulb that has been designed to produce output in the UV range, providing a more efficient and powerful ultraviolet beam than with a UV filter alone. This rechargeable flashlight's advanced HID bulb also provides up to 200 feet of beam throw, surpassing the projection of standard UV flashlights. Waterproof and rechargeable, this black light is ideal for use in the aerospace and military sectors where portable black lights are needed for critical inspection and testing activities.

Explosion Proof Surface Mount LED light for wet corrosive marine environments

The explosion proof surface mount LED light is designed to provide illumination in hazardous locations where durability and resistance to wet marine conditions is critical. The EPL-SMLED-20W is designed for Class 1 Division 1 locations and produces 1800 lumens of clean white light with a 6500K color temperature for excellent contrasting and detail rendering. This cool running explosion proof light is ideal for wet or corrosive environments and is designed to MIL-F-8115C military specifications for exposure to corrosive salt water environments to provide the best in reliable marine lighting for hazardous locations.

A new explosion proof portable infrared LED light is for low voltage power requirements. The EPL-21-IRLED low voltage design is suitable for use in hazardous areas with an area classification from UL Class I & II, Division 1 & 2 and can be operated in wet environments as it is water tight. The illumination from this infrared LED produces a flood beam that is approximately 160 feet long by 125 feet wide and is housed in a portable, durable explosion proof packaging. The EPL-21-IRLED is available in two different frequencies, 850 Nm for use with general night vision devices and security cameras or 940 Nm, which is for use with military night vision equipment. For low voltage operation, the EPL-21-IRLED has an in-line step down transformer to convert 110 to 277 VAC to 12 volts. This Infrared LED provides high intensity illumination in a portable package.
