Six safety pros honored at National Safety Congress for lifetime commitments

SMG announces 2012 award winnersThe National Safety Council is recognizing six individuals with the highest honor it bestows on safety professionals. Each year, Distinguished Service to Safety Awards are presented to individuals who, throughout their careers, have demonstrated outstanding service to the field of safety and health.

This year’s six honorees were recognized at the Opening Session of the NSC Congress & Expo on Monday morning. Honorees are nominated either by one of the NSC occupational safety volunteer groups or the Board of Directors.

Receiving this year’s Distinguished Service to Safety Award are:

Recognized for outstanding efforts within the Business & Industry Division
