National Transportation Safety BoardThe National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will hold a Board meeting next week to determine the probable cause of train-truck collision in Nevada that killed six people and injured fifteen.

The crash on June 24, 2011 in Miriam, Nevada involved a Peterbilt truck-tractor pulling two empty trailers and an Amtrak train carrying passengers.

The truck struck the left side of the train as it was passing through a grade crossing. The truck driver, train conductor and four train passengers were fatally injured. Fifteen train passengers and one crew member were injured.

The Board meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
