Recently, Streamlight adapted new LED technology to create “High Lumen” flashlights for maximum illumination, delivering at least 500 lumens. The new lights are designed for flooding an area with light, such as when illuminating a dark alley, work area, or outdoor path. Made possible by a recent shift in LED manufacturing, the high lumen lights also feature Streamlight’s trademark long-reaching beam and extended run times.  

Sharrah said that this new LED technology also has led to improvements in the company’s “Tradition” line of lights, designed for the broadest array of applications, and “High Performance” models, which deliver superior down-range lighting because of their increased candela.
