Vendor NewsWest Chester Protective Gear, a leading supplier of hand protection, rainwear and protective clothing, announces the launch of its enhanced web presence with new sites for corporate, industrial, and welding product information. A site for retail consumer products and services is slated for release in late Q1. The sites enable visitors to quickly find the best solution to their personal protection equipment needs and emphasize West Chester’s commitment to service, quality, innovation, and value.

The corporate site www.westchestergear.com provides general information about West Chester Protective Gear including product line overviews, careers, events, and news. From the corporate site, visitors can quickly jump to the appropriate division site.

The Industrial site /www.westchesterprotects.com is aimed at safety distributors and end users and provides product information to aid in selection of personal protection equipment products. Robust and user friendly search products functionality allows visitors to view and filter products by style, material, industry, protection need, etc. Product information is presented in a clean format that highlights the features and benefits of the products. Visitors also have the option to view and download the Industrial products catalog.

The IRONCAT® site http://www.ironcatgear.com is focused on West Chester’s welding line of gloves and apparel. Developed by welders for welders, IRONCAT® is designed for the unique heat shielding, dexterity and protection demands of Stick, MIG and TIG welding applications. Like the Industrial site, products are easily viewed and filtered via faceted search functionality for quick information retrieval.

Coming in late Q1, the Retail Consumer site will focus on West Chester products for the retail channel and services for retailers.

Utilizing responsive design, the new web sites deliver optimal user experience for the company’s increasingly mobile client base. The sites are designed to be viewed on smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices without loss of functionality. The sites are also built to be interactive, allowing for reviews, questions and answers, and social sharing.

"West Chester Protective Gear has grown rapidly over the past few years. The new web sites represent the full capabilities that we provide to the Industrial, Welding, and Retail Consumer markets," said Jim Wilson, EVP of Sales and Marketing, West Chester Protective Gear. "The sites demonstrate our commitment to innovation and provide audience-focused information for better decision making and enhanced customer service."
