An estimated 3,000 attendees are expected at the 30th Annual National VPPPA Conference, which will be held at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. The VPPPA’s annual conference is the leading educational event for attendees who represent a broad spectrum of industries.

VPPPA conference participants represent a wide range of individuals involved in safety and health. Safety and health managers, employee safety team members, industrial hygienists, union representatives, consultants, environmental health specialists, human resource managers and government agency representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Energy (DOE) all come together for networking and education.

Educational opportunities

Two full days of educational workshops will address current safety, health and environmental issues and inform participants about the latest best practices, programs and innovations in occupational safety and health. There will also be inspiring keynote and general session speakers.

Expo

The VPPPA Expo, held in conjunction with the annual national VPPPA conference, is the only exhibit show in the country that is tailor-made for VPP sites and sites striving for VPP status. Attracting some of the most innovative manufacturers of safety, health and environmental products and services, the VPPPA Expo offers conference attendees direct access to the leaders in these fields. As an integral part of the association’s annual national conference, the VPPPA Expo 2014 is expecting to attract more than 200 exhibiting companies.
