First conference held at its new state-of-the-art manufacturing & training facility

IRISSIRISS, a leader in the electrical maintenance safety devices (EMSDs) and electrical safety training market, held its annual conference for channel partners at their global headquarters in Bradenton, FL, April 2-4. A primary focus of this year’s event was to inform partners about the 2014 go-to-market strategy and new EMSD product offerings, unveiling the new logo, branding and new website, as well as building a stronger business relationship with our global partners.

“2014 is the year of evolution for IRISS,” states Martin Robinson, CEO of IRISS, Inc. “Our introduction of a host of EMSDs from online electrical monitoring systems to new IR window technology specifically for power generation market, new logo, branding and website all positioning us as electrical industry visionaries.” Robinson continues, “We are thrilled to be sharing our success with our partners & talented team.”

IRISS unveiled a new brand identity symbolized by the introduction of a new logo that signifies its growth and transformation and celebrates the culture of innovation built over the company’s history. All IRISS brands and services are now united under the IRISS Group which includes the brands IRISS, Shield, DeltaT and FlexIR.

The site was designed to share knowledge and expertise in the electrical safety industry providing visitors opportunities to learn about electrical industry trends and resources. Additionally, specific industries such as power generation, electrical products manufacturers, government, marine and maritime, processing plants will all have resources for the most efficient way to manage and monitor their critical energized electrical assets.

“Our channel partners are a strategic part of our business and we listen and work with them to create a program that best meets our mutual needs,” states Martin Robinson, CEO of IRISS, Group. “We did a lot of rebuilding in 2013 to align ourselves for great success in 2014. I believe that these changes will enhance and complement our growth and help us in developing our partner channels. Our partners will remain our main focus. We want to make it easy for partners to do business with us.”

Over 50 people attended the three-day event, where partners had a chance to network with their peers, hear from IRISS leadership and participate in hands-on training including Electrical Maintenance & NFPA 70 E Master Classes.

According to several partners, this conference was considered the best yet. There was a feeling of alignment in strategic goals with IRISS.

To close the event, IRISS recognized the best of the best in sales for 2013. Darren Billings of Atlas Inspection Technologies (Seattle, WA) was honored with the first place award, followed by Tony Sargent of CE Power Solutions (Cincinnati, OH), and Jeff Leake of IR Cameras Inc. (Santa Barbara, CA). Additionally, the most improved award went to David George of Technical Representatives.

"In 2013, we saw great momentum from our channel partners. It’s our pleasure to reward and recognize top performers at our annual partner conference because it’s an event designed to inform, motivate and reward them,” concluded Robinson.
