Sheila EadsISEA is pleased to announce the appointment of Sheila Eads, president and chief executive officer of ERB Industries, to the ISEA Board of Trustees. Ms. Eads will serve a one-year term filling a vacancy left by Bob Gaither of Ansell Healthcare.  Ms. Eads joins the board with extensive industry knowledge in operational management and has been an active member of ISEA’s Strategic Planning Committee for the past several years.

“Sheila is respected in the safety equipment industry and brings a wealth of experience that we can draw from,” said ISEA president Daniel K. Shipp. “We appreciate her willingness to serve on the Board a second time and to share her expertise so that ISEA can continue its mission of protecting worker health and safety worldwide.”

Ms. Eads joined ERB in 1995 to oversee all financial aspects of the company and in 2002 was promoted to her current position.  She has led the company to year-over-year revenue growth and innovation, moving the company in new market and product directions notably in the company’s Aware Wear line of high visibility products and the Girl Power at Work line of safety products for women.  Prior to joining ERB, Ms. Eads was a senior manager at Deloitte, a global accounting and management consulting firm. 

Ms. Eads was previously a board member of the Safety Equipment Distributors Association (SEDA) and ISEA and is currently a member of the advisory board of the Shepherd Spinal Center, a catastrophic care hospital located in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is a CPA, licensed in the state of Georgia.

Ms. Eads graduated with honors from the University of Georgia in 1986 with a degree in Business Administration.
