ASSE reschedules leadership conference

The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) has rescheduled its annual Leadership Conference due to last week's tragic terrorist events. Originally slated for September 27-29, the conference will now be held October 25-27 at the Westin O'Hare Hotel and Resort in Rosemont, IL.

Registrants can contact ASSE's Mike Thompson at 847-768-3420 or Mary Caplis at 847-768-3440 to confirm attendance for the rescheduled conference. Those that are unable to attend the newly scheduled conference should contact the Westin O'Hare Hotel at 847-698-6000 directly starting September 22.

The conference, which kicks off ASSE's 90th anniversary, offers ASSE members ways to build effective leadership skills, how to select and motivate volunteers and an opportunity to interact with ASSE officials.

For more information on the conference, visit ASSE's Web site at www.asse.org.
