Dust collection manufacturer changes name from Farr to Camfil Farr APC (1/28)

Farr Air Pollution Control (APC), a leading producer of dust and fume collectors to clean up industrial processes, has announced in a press release that the company will now operate under the name Camfil Farr Air Pollution Control (APC).

"This name change reflects our company's expansion from a leading North American dust collection manufacturer to an international player," states company president Lee Morgan. Camfil Farr APC is a subsidiary of Camfil Farr, the world's largest air filter manufacturer. "The dust collection business unit has merged two well-known and respected names — Farr APC in North America and Camfil Farr in the rest of the world — to create a single identity that will have global recognition."

Camfil Farr APC is headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and has ISO 9001-certified factories in Manchester, England; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Levice, Slovakia. The company also has facilities and sales offices in a rapidly growing number of countries worldwide.
