MSA is issuing this Safety Advisory to inform you that MSA has received field reports that some green colored MSA V-Gard Protective Caps are cracking. The cracking occurs at the top of the cap, and is not caused by an impact to the cap. MSA has confirmed that the cause of the cracking is limited to green colored, medium size MSA V-Gard Protective Caps and that corrections have been made to prevent recurrence.

Honeywell is recalling its Fibre-Metal E2 and North Peak A79 hard hats due to their potential for failing to protect users from impact, posing a risk of head injury. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hard hats and contact Honeywell to receive a product credit or voucher equal to the purchase price of the recalled hard hat.
