The recovery has been slow, but manufacturing is almost back to its pre-recession level and could be poised to make additional gains, according to the most recent U.S. Economic and Manufacturing Outlook from the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation.
According to a DNV GL survey of 2,160 professionals from businesses in different sectors in Europe, the Americas and Asia, supply chain sustainability is ranking higher on the corporate agenda as a result of greater consumer demand.
