The Nation’s Premier All-Hazards Conference for Emergency Management, Public Safety and Industry with Quality Education, Training, and Networking
The 2015 Emergency Preparedness & Hazmat Response Conference is being held at the Valley Forge Convention Center from October 20th to the 23rd. Sponsored by the Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Castle County, Delaware Local Emergency Planning Committees in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Infrastructure Protection and other Federal agencies and organizations, this national conference continues to bring the highest quality training and education to all involved in emergency management and public safety, as well as industry personnel. The conference includes an exhibit hall, half-day to two-day training programs, and more than 40 breakout sessions.
Tuesday's opening general session will feature LTC Chris Becking speaking on Personal Lessons from Disaster Response and Recovery and Manny Ehrlick of the US Chemical Safety Board speaking on recent chemical incidents and investigations. Thursday's general session will feature Chief Rich Gasaway speaking on Situational Awareness and Why Does it Matter.
