Reducing Worker Heat Stress in the Workplace where Flame Resistant Clothing is Required
*
Certificate of completion available

Spentex® has invested heavily in evaluating flame resistant fabrics as it relates to comfort. Comfort can be defined many different ways with regards to flame resistant clothing: fit, weight, and feel are examples of how the wearers define comfort.

The focus of this webinar will be on the following “Comfort” Criteria

  1. Moisture Absorption
  2. Evaporative Properties
  3. Performance of legacy and new flame resistant fabrics in simulated environmental conditions, with empirical test results from a sensor controlled Sweating Manikin
  4. Application of these laboratory results in the workplace to reduce heat stress on workers required to Flame Resistant Clothing
