There is an interesting though little-noticed correlation between corporate marketing and the educational programs used in many corporations.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) says it will be working with Designing Digitally, Inc. to create E-Learning modules to disseminate information about its standards -- specifically NFPA 13, Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, and NFPA 72,  National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.

Call it what you will — online training, distance learning, web-based training or e-learning — but the practice of training employees via technology-based methods such as the Internet, intranet, CD-ROM and more has continued to grow in popularity as more and more workplaces discover the value that this type of training has to offer.

The primary reason for any solid training program is to develop high-functioning, “whole-brain” employees.
