Honeywell Safety Products introduces New Max® Small Pink earplugs for people with smaller ear canals
Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today introduced new MAX® Small Pink earplugs — a bright pink version of its popular orange MAX Small single-use earplug for people with smaller ear canals. MAX Small earplugs were introduced in 2011 in response to reports from people with smaller ear canals about having trouble obtaining a good fit — and adequate protection — from other high-attenuating roll-down foam earplugs.
Industrial Safety & Hygiene News has awarded the AirWave Disposable Respirator and Glide Twist-In Earplugs both the 2013 ISHN Reader's Choice Award AND the 2013 ASSE Attendee's Choice Award in each of their respective categories.
Magid expands its signature E2® line of best-value hearing protectors today with the new E2® IHP100 and IHP100C Paddle Plug™ Earplugs. Featuring user-friendly, easy-grip PVC paddle stems to simplify wear and removal, these earplugs propel standard hearing protection into a new league of fit, comfort and control.
What's too loud: Federal OSHA standards say the ear can tolerate eight hours a day of 90-decibel sound (the sound of a well-tuned power mower), four hours at 95 decibels, two hours at 100 decibels, and so on. Many audiologists say those times should be cut in half.
