Appalachian State University professor appointed to the Board Of Directors of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies™
Timothy Ludwig, Ph.D., was appointed to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies™ (CCBS) during its 2014 Annual Meeting of the Trustees recently held in Atlanta, Georgia. The Cambridge Center reaches thousands of people in need of behavioral solutions such as helping children with autism, coping with aging, or providing safer work environments in oil refineries.
Dr. Ludwig is a Professor at Appalachian State University where he has served for the past 20 years earning distinction with the UNC Board of Governors Excellence in Teaching Award and the University Dean’s Distinguished Graduate Faculty Award. Dr. Ludwig has served as an editor of the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management, President of the Organizational Behavior Management Network and is the author of dozens of scholarly articles that empirically develop behavioral methods to improve safety and quality in industry. His books include Intervening to Improve the Safety of Occupational Driving and Behavioral Systems: Understanding Complexity in Organizations. Dr. Ludwig serves on the Accreditation Board of CCBS that reviews best-in-safety practices and offers independent, objective feedback. Dr. Ludwig was cited in Industrial Safety and Hygiene News (ISHN) 2012 Power 101 Leaders in the Safety and Health World.
