The Board of Trustees of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF), an organization that works to advance the industrial hygiene profession by awarding scholarships to students in related disciplines, seeks nominations for the position of "Member-at-Large Trustee." This position serves a one-year term, which will commence at the annual Board of Trustees meeting on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. After completing the first year term, the candidate may be re-slated for a second term.
Nominees should be dedicated to AIHF's core focus areas of work, including donor development and relations, fundraising, and scholarships. Interested individuals must also be AIHA members in good standing, demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation, and be prepared to disclose in writing any potential conflicts of interest. Further, nominees should be committed to diversity and inclusiveness, as well as to the time required to serve.
