The budget of the EPA would be slashed by 31 percent and funding for research on climate change would be eliminated under the budget proposal unveiled by President Trump today.
The proposed budget $9.6 billion for the Department of Labor, which represents a $2.5 billion or 21 percent decrease from the 2017 annualized CR level. Among the programs which could be eliminated: OSHA’s training grants.The departments of State, Commerce, Agriculture, Energy, Transportation and Housing and Urban Development would see deep cuts as well. Many federal jobs would be eliminated.
