AIHA’s Industrial Hygiene Heroes continue to nab awards
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA®) will receive two APEX Awards for Publication Excellence from Communications Concepts, Inc. AIHA won a Grand Award in the Electronic Media category for the IH Heroes™ comic and a Certificate of Excellence for the IH Heroes™ series. AIHA also finished as a Content Marketing Award Finalist for Best Motivational Video or Video Series for the I Am IH™ web series and for Best Digital Marketing Publication Design for the IH Heroes Tales from the IH Experience series.
The IH Heroes program and I Am IH series are part of a larger outreach program by AIHA, the IH Professional Pathway program. This is a comprehensive member outreach and public awareness program that was developed and launched by AIHA in 2016. AIHA is honored to have collaborated on the IH Heroes™ project with exceptional artists and designers, including Klaus Scherwinski, Luisa J. Preissler, and Simeon Cogswell and LAI Video for the I Am IH series. AIHA has received a total of 25 honors over the past three years for its outreach programs, including an APEX Grand Award in the same Electronic Media category last year.
