Are you born with it? Or do you develop it over time? Although a new study on preferred learning styles was intended to make childhood education more efficient, its findings could hold some lessons for those who design safety training for adult workers.
In research published by the American Psychological Association, scientists set out to test the commonly held belief that one’s best learning style is set at birth – perhaps inherited from parents. Concurrent with this belief is the conviction that that entrenched learning style is a predictor of academic and career success - even though there is no scientific evidence to support this.
