Hit-and-run fatality in construction zone leads to indictments
A Baltimore County grand jury indicted a Towson, Md., man on 16 counts in the death of a 42-year-old construction worker who died in January in an alleged hit-and-run accident on the on the Baltimore Beltway, reports the Towson Times.
Charges against the 28-year-old driver include auto manslaughter, vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol and failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death, according to the Baltimore County state's attorney's office, which announced the indictment May 2.
