Fort Worth-based Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Co. agreed in February to stop genetic testing on employees who filed claims for carpal tunnel syndrome after the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit contending the testing violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.
It was the first time that the EEOC had challenged genetic testing.
