The 2011 ISEA Executive Summit will be held at Westin Savannah Harbor, in Savannah, GA. The meeting will be held from Sunday, May 15 through Tuesday, May 17.
Attendees include executives from ISEA member companies. Speakers will include noted economist Brian Beaulieu of the Institute for Trend Research (ITR), who ISEA is pleased to welcome back to for another appearance at its annual meeting. The meeting will also include a political insider’s briefing and a focus on exporting to Brazil.
Concord, N.H-based Beaulieu will answer key questions of the day: What leading economic indicators should we be watching? What’s the picture like for an improved economy? And how will short- and long-term forecasts impact the safety industry?
The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), formed in 1933, is the trade association for companies that manufacture safety equipment. Its member companies are leaders in the design and manufacture of clothing and equipment used wherever people work.
Members’ products include head, eye/face, respiratory, hearing, hand and fall protection; environmental monitoring instruments; safety warning signs and symbols; emergency eyewash and shower; first-aid kits; protective garments, and high-visibility apparel.
Member companies may join product groups or various committees, allowing them to participate in standards development and other programs that focus on meeting their specific issues and needs. Membership is open to any companies or operating division of a corporation engaged in the design and manufacture of safety equipment.
