Scantek, Inc. announces the release of a new version of OTL – Terrain™ from Mediterranean Acoustics Research & Development. Before, the software had a sophisticated acoustical calculation engine that simulates 3-dimension sound propagation using sound rays that include divergence, reflection, and diffraction to detect sound paths. Now, it includes algorithms of ISO 9613-2: 1996.
The new version includes numerous usability enhancements: LpAfter and LpBefore curves displayed, visibility tracing for reflection detection, performance enhancements in path detection, render modes added in mapping views, and reflected diffracted paths calculated for wall diffractions. In addition, graph screenshots can now be saved and copied to clipboard.
