Honeywell Safety Products introduces new HW100 and HW200 ADF Welding Helmets with shade 9-13 protection
Innovative design combines the safety and performance of auto-darkening filters with superior comfort for increased productivity
Today, Honeywell Safety Products introduced the new HW100 and HW200 auto-darkening-filter welding helmets with shade 9-13 protection. The helmets’ innovative design combines the safety and performance of high-quality ADF filters with a sleek, lightweight helmet shell for superior comfort and increased productivity. With a light state of Shade 3 on the HW100 or Shade 4 on the HW200, these welding helmets offer a clear view of the work area during set up as well as pre- and post-fabrication activities. Immediately upon arc strike, the ADF darkens to Shade 10 on the HW100 or to a selected shade in the 9-13 range on the HW200, allowing for a consistently clear view of welds without repeatedly lifting the helmet. The HW100 and HW200 are ideally suited for part-time welders or hobbyists ready to upgrade from a standard passive filter.
“ADF helmets provide greater protection, convenience and comfort by eliminating the constant adjustments and strain involved with repeated lifting and nodding to check a weld,” said Katie Twist-Rowlinson, product manager for Honeywell Safety Products. “With these attributes at the forefront of our new design, the HW100 and HW200 allow individuals to focus on the welding job at hand rather than being distracted by their protective equipment.”
