You know when OSHA makes an announcement that’s posted online by The Wall Street Journal within hours or minutes, something major has happened. And so it was with agency boss Dr. David Michaels’ press teleconference on Thursday, November 7 where he explained OSHA’s intent to make public a vast collection of Big Data on individual employers’ (with more than 250 employees) injury and illness rates, and information from OSHA’s Forms 300 and 301.
Form 301 – “Injury and Illness Incident Report,” basically asks employers to “tell us how the recordable) injury occurred.”
