NFPA 70E 2021 – Significant Changes in Electrical Safety in the Workplace Standards
The NFPA 70E 2021 Standard for electrical safety in the workplace is revised and updated and supersedes all previous editions. It is now in effect. The new standard has had a significant re-organizing of the General Requirements in Article 110, putting a high priority on hazard elimination. The operation of a common circuit breaker or switch for the first time or after electrical maintenance now has new requirements.
The COVID-19 virus has changed the world and how we do and learn things. The new standard has adapted to these changes by expanding what types of safety training are approved. New articles have been added to keep up with today’s developing technologies in battery systems and arc-resistant electrical equipment. This webinar is a must for all qualified workers and safety mangers that need to keep current on electrical safety in the workplace requirements.
