Tillman, a leader in personal protective solutions for welders and the industrial market announces the introduction of the OilShield™ line of oil resistant and ANSI cut resistant gloves. “No one likes to feel liquid seeping through their leather gloves; to combat this, Tillman developed a family of top grain Goatskin gloves with OilShield, a molecular additive that repels oil, grease and liquids from penetrating leather” said Jeff Shipley, Director of Marketing for Tillman.
This week at ExpoProtection 2016 in Paris, France, PIP launched three new glove technologies. In line with launches announced at the National Safety Council Congress & Expo Show in Anaheim, CA earlier this month, PIP forges further ahead as the leader in Cut Protection.
A learning lab session scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18 will discuss recent changes to ANSI/ISEA Standards for high-visibility and hand protection. Experts will share tips and advice on how to comply with the new regulations.
The RWG533, an Axis™ Series glove by Radians, has an ANSI Cut rating of 2 and an EN388 cut rating of 3. The RWG533 glove features an 18 gauge, green HPPE shell so it is more form-fitting and dexterous than lower gauge gloves.
