Recognizing that the special safety requirements necessary for stages, orchestra pits, churches, school auditoriums, and athletic assembly occupancies may not be adequately covered by other codes or standards, this one may provide the minimum safety performance requirements to protect the occupants.

This standard sets forth provisions for protecting persons where there is potential for slips and falls as a result of surface characteristics or conditions.

This standard sets forth practices for the safe operation of motor vehicles owned or operated by organizations.

This revised standard provides minimum safety requirements to be followed while entering, exiting, and working in confined spaces at normal atmospheric pressure, but does not pertain to underground mining, tunneling, caisson work or other similar tasks that have established national consensus standards.

Fall Protection equipment and systems for climbing, man-riding, work positioning, fall arrest systems, rescue and evacuation and other fall hazard operations, excluding construction/demolition and sports activities.
