North Carolina Labor Department recognizes Monroe company
Scott Safety certified as a Carolina Star program participant for exemplary safety & health program
The N.C. Department of Labor certified Scott Safety as a participant in the Carolina Star Program. State Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry attended a ceremony at the company’s Monroe facility on Oct. 28 to present company officials with the Carolina Star flag and a certificate.
“Being a Carolina Star shows the community that you are committed to a safe work environment,” Commissioner Berry said. “A good safety record is something to be proud of, and I am happy to recognize Scott Safety and all its employees who work hard to make safety a priority.”
