The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) has named Lydia Baugh to the newly created post of communications director. In this capacity, Baugh is responsible for developing and implementing the association’s communications strategy, which includes overseeing the communications activities of ISEA’s programs and providing strategic support to the President and senior management. She will also act as a catalyst for integrated communications thinking and knowledge management across the organization and its membership, including stakeholder relations, media relations, and the production of publications.
“With a background in logistics, transportation, manufacturing and energy, Lydia has cultivated extensive experience in communications strategies and is skilled in implementing strategic communications, media relations and social media strategies to reach targeted objectives,” said Daniel K. Shipp, President of ISEA. “She will create effective media strategies to support ISEA’s campaigns and programs, and lead marketing initiatives for brand strategy and development, public relations, publications and knowledge management.”
