Learn how to plan and operate during disaster response. This training is tailored for the Oil and Gas Industry and provides an introduction to Incident Command with emphasis on the roles and responsibilities during disaster response. Topics include the organization and operation, management of resources, the duties of all positions, and examples of principles used in incident and event planning.
SH 210 – OSHA’s Silica Standard
Learn what OSHA’s new Silica Standard means to the Oil and Gas Industry. This training will explain the result of assessments by NIOSH, identify the sources of silica exposure in Oil & Gas, discuss the changes in the new silica standard, the impact on Oil and Gas, and the timeline for implementing these new requirements. Requirements for air monitoring, engineering controls and work practices to control exposure, controlling access to high-exposure sites, use of respiratory protection, employee training, and medical surveillance related to minimizing silica exposures will be discussed.
