Miller introduces new FILTAIR® 400 Industrial High-Vacuum Fume Extraction System

Four access points give greater flexibility

October 19, 2012
Miller Electric Mfg. Co. introduces the latest in its line of weld fume extraction solutions, the FILTAIR 400 Industrial High-Vacuum System. The FILTAIR 400 provides consistent 400 cfm operation and ease of maintenance in one of the most efficient welding fume extraction products on the market. The system is designed for industrial use and is ready for the challenge of the toughest industrial welding environments.

The FILTAIR 400’s surface-loading technology captures submicron particles at the surface, providing high quality weld fume filtration and cleaning quality, extending the life of the filter.

The system offers automated filter cleaning for long periods of maintenance free operation.  The four-port access means the unit can be centrally located while maintaining flexibility, especially when paired with FILTAIR accessories such as fume extraction guns.  Fume extraction guns are the ultimate way to capture weld fume directly at the source.  When centralized with ducting the FILTAIR 400 can facilitate six to eight fume extraction MIG guns.

With 400 cfm the FILTAIR 400 can also be used with various optional nozzle attachments that can be extended out for those hard-to-reach work spaces, such as large machinery maintenance and out-of-position work.

FILTAIR 400 facts:

MERV 16 — traditional filters carry a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value of 7-11. Welding fumes require a more efficient system, which is why Miller FILTAIR systems are rated MERV 16 for cleaner air, better working conditions.

Easy filter access and maintenance — Miller filter packs are designed for ease of use and a long life.

Total weld solution — The Miller FILTAIR Industrial Series is a fully assembled weld fume extractor providing all the tools necessary to meet industrial extraction needs with the flexibility to customize to the job.
